~~~dog has recovered...am home and catching up...summertime in full swing...enjoying lightning bugs at dusk, putting on quite a show this week...june pretties are blooming, good to see old friends...duckling population down to four from original 13 or 14,high mortality rate~~~

OOT...roadtrip north - busy, busy highway...visiting family and new home - dog kisses...another roadtrip east...visiting family - more dog kisses...new computer and smiles...good food - pulled pork, soul rolls, GA peach tea, shrimp taco...sick on the mend after Dr visit...Joseph's Coat shopping. sassy had to go to the vet. started limbing couple of days ago after a wrestling session with mom. wasn't getting better. know GSDs have fragile hips so we were concerned when she was really favoring her right hind leg. after a through exam vet said was just sprained muscle...gave her pain/anti inflammatory medicine. we were relieved. has gained nearly 5 lbs in the last 3 months - all muscle. BTW - she still gets as car sick as ever.

May has been a good month so far...celebrated Mother's day and a 9th BD...RLA visit...porch repairs completed...we are enjoying our front porch again...six large catfish and two snapping turtles removed from pond...girls have caught a fish-several turtles-a very young fawn...greening up and cleaning up progressing nicely...girls got a pedicure, 8 paws are a bunch...new teeth, finally...new glasses...watched The Reader, powerful story well told...floral beauties blooming all over...and still a few days left in the month with big doings pending...did I forget anything?

found a new supplier - these are absolutely delicious - mouthwatering - need I say more

haircut for the mister - clean sheets for the beds - flea treatment for dogs - typical monday - new babies on the pond - have no idea how the eggs survived, happy they did!
