Date-Nut Bars

1 1/2 c flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 c brown sugar

1/2 c melted butter

4 eggs, well beaten

2 c dates, chopped

2 c nuts, chopped

Combine first 4 dry ingredients.

Add melted butter to beaten eggs and combine

with dry ingredients.

Add chopped dates and nuts.

Turn into greased jelly roll pan (large).

Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.

Cut into bars while warm.

Dust with confectioners sugar.
