1 lb sausage
1 ½ c to 2 c elbow macaroni
½ tsp each: black pepper, basil, garlic powder
15 oz can tomato sauce
16 oz container small curd cottage cheese
American Cheese slices, grated to equal 1 ½ c
Cook macaroni until tender.
Brown sausage, drain grease.
Add spices and tomato sauce.
Simmer for about 10 min.
Layer ingredients in 9 x 13 pan.
Layers = meat sauce, macaroni, cottage cheese, American cheese.
Top with meat sauce and American cheese.
Cook for 30 min at 375° or until is bubbly and top is browned
